Privacy
This is a plain-language summary of how Klaverna handles your data. It is a starting point, not a substitute for a full legal review.
What we collect
- Account details you choose to give us: name, email, a parent or guardian contact, and your preferred language.
- Your learning activity: lessons opened, answers and code you submit, scores, and progress.
- Waitlist contact: the email or mobile number you enter to be notified when a course opens.
- Contact messages: the name, email, and message you send through the contact form.
- Basic technical data for error reporting, plus optional product analytics when you opt in.
Why we use it
To run the course and save your progress, to let a linked parent or teacher follow that progress, to tell you when a new course opens, to answer your messages, and to keep the service working.
Who can see it
Your data is private to your account. A parent, guardian, or teacher linked to a student can see that student's progress. If you opt in, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU, with on-screen text masked) for product analytics. We use Sentry for operational error reports. We do not sell your data.
Students under 18
Klaverna is for secondary-school students. A parent or guardian should review this page and consent before a student shares contact details. You can ask us to access or delete a child's data at any time through the contact form.
Your choices
Product analytics is off by default and can be enabled or disabled at any time in Account. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to remove you from a waitlist. Just reach out and we will help.
